Instead of condemning the dung beetles at Wonkette for putting into practice their belief that belittling a three year old with Downs Syndrome is great good fun so long as the child’s parents are Republican, I’m rather grateful they wrote what they did.

Hey, show the world what morons you are. Please. Be my guest. By all means. Don’t let me stop you. Keep on shoveling it out there. Might open a few eyes.

That said, I am reminded of something I’ve long held to be true. One day, some high profile blogger and/or tweeter is going to say the wrong thing either to or about the wrong person. And that person, or someone affiliated with that person be the affiliation genuine or imagined, is going to take action against the high profile blogger and/or tweeter.

And it will be bloody. Literally.
